What I Eat In A Day Copy

What a Health Coach Eats in a Day

As a health and wellness coach I get this question all the time … what do you eat?! I can honestly say, it has taken a few years to really figure out what my body wants morning, noon and night. But I think I finally have it down pat. Before I tell you my daily routine, these are some guidelines I try to follow: intermittent fasting from 8pm to 12pm the next day; no sugar (or at least not late in the day); not too much animal protein; and, limited or no snacking. With that in mind, here is what I usually eat or something similar…

MORNING

7:30 am – Intermittent fasting lasts until noon, but I will have a cup of collagen coffee and lots of water.

NOON

Anytime after 12 pm – I am salad bar OBSESSED! If there is a Whole Foods, I will find it. A typical salad for me is kale, spinach, zucchini noodles, shredded beets, red cabbage, shredded chicken or chickpeas.

Kombucha (favorite is GT’s Gingerade & Multi Greens)

THROUGHOUT THE DAY

Water, water, water!! Stay hydrated.

EVENING

7:00 pm – I always keep dinner light. My absolutely favorite dinner is cast iron salmon with roasted broccolini.

LATE NIGHT TREAT

If I decide to live a little (because, after all, we do have to enjoy ourselves) I will treat myself to NadaMoo mint chocolate chip ice cream. It’s to-die-for!

I believe eating has to be enjoyable but at the same time suitable for your body. This is what I’ve found works for me and allows me to have sustainable energy, clarity, and focus throughout the day. Let me know what you love to eat and also your favorite treats!

Cheers,

Izzy
