Grilled Ginger-Teriyaki Drumettes and Veggies

Recipe by Honey, Ghee, and Me

Ingredients

for the sauce…

1/4 cup coconut aminos*

2 tsp grated fresh ginger

2 tsp minced or grated fresh garlic (approx. 2 cloves)

2-3 tbsp coconut sugar, depending on sweetness preference*

3 tbsp mirin

1 tsp sesame oil

1/2 cup water mixed with 2 tsp arrowroot starch

for the veggies…

1 yellow onion

1 red bell pepper

1 green bell pepper

salt and pepper, to taste

drizzle of olive oil

the others…

approx 10 chicken drumettes

half a pineapple, sliced

sliced green onions

sesame seeds

* If preferred, you could use tamari in place of coconut aminos if preferred, though keep in mind it’s a bit saltier. Also, if you don’t have coconut sugar on hand, feel free to use light brown sugar or honey instead… just play around until you get it just how you want it.
