Chocolate Tahini Coconut Slice

Recipe by Healthy French Wife


Base: 2 cups of raw cashews

2 cups of shredded coconut

1/2 cup of raw cacao

1/2 cup of maple syrup

1/2 tsp of sea salt

1/3 cup of tahini

1 tsp of vanilla paste

Coconut Chocolate Butter: 1/2 cup of maple syrup

1/4 of coconut oil

1/2 cup of cacao

1 tbsp of tahini

Toppings: Coconut chips

Cacao nibs


1Line a cake tin with glad wrap;

2Mix in a food processor all the ingredients for the base for a few minutes;

3Press the base in the tin using your hands or a spoon firmly to create a strong base.

4Place the base in the freezer to cool down while you make the choc coconut butter.

5Mix in a bowl the coconut chocolate butter ingredients with a fork to mix the tahini well.

6Pour on top of the base once taken out of the freezer and add the toppings.

7Leave to set in the freezer for an hour.

8Take out 20-30 min before serving. Can stay in the fridge for up to a week.
