Bacon Wrapped Steak Bites

Recipe by Real Simple Good

Ingredients

1 pound grass fed beef or elk (Sirloin, beef tenderloin medallions, elk backstrap, etc. Anything that can be cut into bite-sized pieces for cooking)

8 pieces of bacon

Salt & pepper

Directions

1Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

2Cut your beef into small cubes. I emphasize that they need to be small because you want them bite-sized and a big mouthful can be tough to chew.

3Season the beef cubes with salt and pepper.

4Cut each strip of bacon into thirds.

5Place the bacon on a paper towel on a microwave safe plate and microwave for 2 minutes to just partially cook it (this ensures that the bacon is cooked at the same time the beef is).

6Wrap the bacon around the beef cubes and secure it with a toothpick. Place on a baking tray.

7Bake the bites in the oven for about 12-15 minutes, until the bacon starts to get crispy and the steak is cooked.

8Serve and enjoy.
